Thomas Antonio Davis Sr. (born March 22, 1983) is an American football linebacker for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL). Davis played college football for the University of Georgia, and was recognized as a consensus All-American. He was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He also played for the Los Angeles Chargers. Davis recovered from three major ACL tears during his career, a feat no other professional athlete has done.
