Paloma Cecilia San Basilio Martínez, known as Paloma San Basilio, is a Spanish singer, songwriter, producer and actress. She received the Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award for her contributions to Latin music. She has sold millions of records throughout her career, with styles ranging from melodious songs to pop music. She has appeared often in various musicals such as the Spanish premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Evita in Madrid. Some other musical theater productions include Man of La Mancha, My Fair Lady, Victor / Victoria and Sunset Boulevard. She announced her retirement in 2013, touring Europe and America. She is currently on a symphonic tour in Colombia, where she will make a stopover in Armenia, Cali, Bucaramanga, Pereira, Bogotá, Medellín and Manizales as one of the last musical projects of her artistic life.
