Alexis Valdés is a Cuban actor, comedian, monologue, film producer, playwright, poet, singer and screenwriter. He was born in Havana, Cuba on August 16, 1963. Valdés graduated in thermal engineering from the José Antonio Echeverría Polytechnic of the Havana Polytechnic. He rose to fame in the 1980s, thanks to his role as Bandurria in the Cuban television series Los pequeños fugitivos. After working in television and theater for 10 years in Cuba, he moved to Spain in 1991 where he became very popular thanks to his performances in shows like Club El.
